  • As many people watch this thread to be notified of new codes, please keep discussion to other threads. This isn't a suitable place to discuss the pros and cons of GoDaddy's service, though such posts are certainly welcome elsewhere.

Important Note
Please note that this thread is only for information that directly leads to discounts at GoDaddy.

If you are looking to discuss the recent changes to GoDaddy's promo code policy, please use this thread.

If you have been banned from GoDaddy as a result of alleged promo code abuse, please use this thread.

it might be worth trying all known codes with 99 as suffix (mma99 worked based on mma199, mma295 etc..)

A godaddy renewal cost me $12.42 today, most I have ever paid with them. I called and asked about discounts, and unless I wanted to pay like $119 for the discount club membership, they wouldn't knock any off that price. I guess I will transfer my remaining few domains at godaddy elsewhere. At dynadot my renewals are $8.75, which is okay. GoDaddy would not match that, so see ya GD. I used to have a ton of domains hosted there.

My renewals at GD are $8.29, which is cheaper than $8.75 last time I looked. You can use a coupon to get that $119 down. So if you have somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 domains, it's cheaper. That's if we're only talking .com. It's cheaper with other extensions as well. We went thru the numbers earlier in the thread, nobody could come up with a cheaper registrar -- for those that have a decent amount of domains. Once you really look at the numbers.

Last I checked, gd41282g 36% off works to knock off a good bit of DCC fees

Some of you probably already know this, but what I do to save on renewals, is that I change the currency to Indian Rupees ie. INR and it will show a cheaper renewal rate ie. 27% off in my case.
So I end up paying about €9.70 per .com renewal, which saves me about €4 per renewal!

Makes a difference when you gotta renew a bunch of domains!

So try it out and see if it works for you!

After I exhausted the last weeks nearly every possible code, we created a new GD account for my husband with a new cc.

AND: Most of the codes worked again * YAY :)
THEN: GD locked our new account already after a few days *YIKES :-/
BUT: After we send our ID's, the new GD account was unlocked only after a few minutes * YAY :)

You are allowed to have more than one account at GoDaddy yourself. You just have to use a different credit card and e-mail. I was told this by someone but still didn't want to risk losing new domains so I called and asked GoDaddy and they said it is fine as long as you use different credit cards and email addresses.

I asked on 2 different occasions while talking to a GoDaddy rep about other issues and got the same answer. One told me that there are many people that do this, especially developers.

THANKS!! Good to know! I'll create another account for myself after our current new account exhausted all codes :)

Did GD say how many new accounts are allowed per person?
