Some of you probably already know this, but what I do to save on renewals, is that I change the currency to Indian Rupees ie. INR and it will show a cheaper renewal rate ie. 27% off in my case.
So I end up paying about €9.70 per .com renewal, which saves me about €4 per renewal!

Makes a difference when you gotta renew a bunch of domains!

So try it out and see if it works for you!

THEN: GD locked our new account already after a few days *YIKES
BUT: After we send our ID's, the new GD account was unlocked only after a few minutes * YAY

You are allowed to have more than one account at GoDaddy yourself. You just have to use a different credit card and e-mail. I was told this by someone but still didn't want to risk losing new domains so I called and asked GoDaddy and they said it is fine as long as you use different credit cards and email addresses.

I asked on 2 different occasions while talking to a GoDaddy rep about other issues and got the same answer. One told me that there are many people that do this, especially developers.

They just said that multiple accounts are allowed as long as different credit cards and email addresses are used. I think more than 2 might be risking issues but I am not sure. I think as long as you don't get carried away you will be ok.

The reason your Hubby's account was probably flagged was because 2 different names were used at the same ip address. Even if the last names are the same. There system can be touchy at times when it thinks stolen credit cards might be being used.

You will probably be fine with 2 in your name and 2 in your Hubby's using different credit cards. If you are wanting more that 2 you can always call and ask GoDaddy or try online chat support to ask them.

It has never flagged me for that. I have done more than a dozen many times and never been flagged. One time I purchased 22 in one day and didn't get flagged.

I wonder if these new codes are tied to other codes you might have already used? I have had the same problem with other codes not working for me that I know I have never used. They do have some set up in code groups, I was told that by a GD rep but he wouldn't share how they group them.
