Anyone else registering 3D domains?

It seems that 3D is going to be the the next must have technology, according to the big brands, they are all launching 3D TVs.

I attempted to find good 3D names but the best domains are already taken, I think in 5 years time or even less, those generic 3D domains will be worth a lot. :imho:

Anyone else registering 3d domains? Do you think they have a future?

His 3Dplayers is certainly better than anything you've posted here.

Coming from someone who has no 3D domains and say's HD is going to be bigger than 3D most anything you say has no merit.

A Disc ? A Chip ? a Hologram chip or disc ? Could be all of the above.
I don't see 3Dplayers it won't be called that. Im not saying I know it all it just does not work for me.

that's why it could be a great review, info site with a nice directory, earning money on leads and click throughs

.. school (singular), would be much more ideal, agreed... but 1,000,000 people a month are still searching in the plural... most likely because of the example just given

To me the word players symbolizes something that plays a media format.
You play a dvd on a dvdplayer you play a cd on a cdplayer you can't play 3D but you can play something that holds a 3D image or media. That is the word missing 3D,,,,,player

Can you point to anything similar to this happening in domain history?.... or is 3D just so groundbreaking that the past doesn't matter?

Free in the world of pornsites made a big breakthrough. Nobody used to use free in their adult domains, untill the figured out that people are looking for "free" and still they could make peeploads of money from those visitors.

Tubes in the world of adult sites went about the same. Nobody was giving their 2 cents, up untill someone figured if YOUtube would be a good name a pornsite with that name in it and a similar technology would do good. I can tell you now, that their are ridiculous amounts being paid for domains with the word tube in it in the right niches.

Would you ladies upload topless photos of yourself from multiple angles to bras3d.com so you can "try on" bras?

That is assuming the system would even work. Froy, how are you going to keep the photos of women in perfect perportion with the bras? If the woman took the photo from too far away, the bra that is laied over her photo is going to be too big.

The domainers are missing out. They are piling up 3D domains that qualified end users did not even deem worthy of reg fee. Where are the buyers ?

I thought 99% of the .com domains in this thread were bad but we are now seeing multi keyword domains being registered in second tier extensions such as .tv or .org. Honestly the resale potential for those is less than zero.
