Anyone else registering 3D domains?

It seems that 3D is going to be the the next must have technology, according to the big brands, they are all launching 3D TVs.

I attempted to find good 3D names but the best domains are already taken, I think in 5 years time or even less, those generic 3D domains will be worth a lot. :imho:

Anyone else registering 3d domains? Do you think they have a future?

Just watched a clip about the 3d technology on PBS News (well that’s what I watch ) and it seems that this whole 3d trend is much bigger than the debates that are going on between domainers here. Looks like all kinds of new 3d applications are going to be here soon (if not already). Those who have managed to get some nice generic 3d domains that are related to the practical and popular uses of this technology are probably going to be very happy in the near future. IMO

Now, just because 3D is "going to be huge" does not mean that any 3D domain will be valuable. It's a simple as that and it applies to any industry.

i mean if a girl knows she wears a 34C, what the hell good is it going to do to see it in 3d? she's simply going to buy a 34C seeing it in 34B or maybe 36C is not going to make any difference

i have had the name onlinefitting/com for a couple of years because in the future there will be scans for body type to make it easier to buy clothes online , i read somewhere it's called efitting, it will be handy if buying shoes and so on ......your dimensions will act as to whether small is a good fit or large is the prefered fit ? and guide you to what to buy

It will save alot of time a money spent on postage returning items that dont fit

When I go shopping, I know exactly what I want, I'm strait in, get what I want, and out as quick as I can. But with girls, it's so different. Most of them like to try on every item, some of them twice, and after an hour or so they buy the first one they tried on. :lol:
I don't think their behaviour would change with online shopping. ( If a site like that ever came to fruition ).

I constantly have my girlfriend and daughter on different sites pasting their faces on and adding makeup, or hairstyles, etc.
Some of the images could look pretty awesome in 3D.
They actually pay to play on these sites, :lol:

Oh, and please don't ever take ebay seriously.
It's more or less a .99 cent playground, and definitely not a good guage on the Domain market...lol

Seriously I think the point here is, throwing any old word out there and sticking 3D in the beginning or end without actually having a true vision is what seems to be baffling to most.

I'm just not seeing that same concept (bras, shoes, etc) being as attractive to girls as their hairstyles usually are #1.

Hey Like I said I don't see it either but my girlfriend does. I see plastic surgery 3D for sure its already happening I don't see shoes to try on at all But boots and shoes in 3D display would be cool just to see the 3D look of all different styles. Wow I see the same post already happened
