According to a tweet yesterday, Mike Mann has recorded another five figure sale. This time, the domain in question is CorporateLeasing.com. Mike’s tweet says that he acquired the name in 2008, and records from NameBio show that the price paid was $4,080 via the Afternic marketplace. The sales price announced yesterday was $21,100.

Donald Trump Bought ClintonKaine.com

Domain investor @john_karr published some interesting news this week. After the $15,000 sale of ClintonKaine.com, John looked into who acquired the domain name. He uncovered early WHOIS details that show Donald Trump’s web developers have bought the name.

The WHOIS listing showed an “@parscale.com” email address as the owner, before being converted to WHOIS privacy a short time later. Giles-Parscale is a San Antonio based design and web marketing company that lists Donald Trump’s presidential campaign as one of their clients.

Banned from GoDaddy Auctions

This week, an investor informed the community that they were banned from the popular domain aftermarket, GoDaddy Auctions. According to the discussion, after several failed login attempts, he called GoDaddy support who informed him that he was banned.

The discussion, linked above, gives the explanation as to why this investor was banned, but fortunately, thanks to GoDaddy's staff, his account has been reinstated.
