information Top Topics: FO.com Confirmed As Sold!; Who Has Made Money This Month?

Spaceship Spaceship
In case you missed it, we recently published the first in our Domain Detection series in which we summarise the recent activity of large domain portfolio owners to see what they bought, sold or dropped. The data collected is fascinating, so take a look.

In other news, Jamie Zoch (@Yofie) of DotWeekly noticed yesterday that the domain FO.com may have sold. I can confirm the domain name has sold, but the price cannot be disclosed. According to Jamie, the domain had a $1.2 million "Buy Now" price. I believe that the final sales price may be around $850,000 based on some of my previous emails with the seller, although this is just speculation.

Here's this week's Top Topics.

How Would You Respond to This?

An investor has received an enquiry this week on a hand-registered brandable media related domain name that the domainer had only just registered.

How would you respond to an email asking whether your domain is for sale? Would you quote a price and leave it at that, or would you ask the potential buyer to make an offer first?
