sales Detected: Escrow.com is Happy.co, Whilst Media Options Gets Murphy.com

Spaceship Spaceship
Welcome to our domain detection series, where we take a look at some of the activity of the most prominent domain investors and domain portfolio owners to see what they’ve bought, sold, or dropped recently. In this edition, we take a look at some of Frank Schilling’s sales, an outstanding acquisition by Nat Cohen and a potential two-letter .COM domain name sale.

  • Media Options completed the purchase of Murphy.com this week after acquiring it for $50,200 on NameJet, according to NameBio.com.
  • Nat Cohen acquired the domain name Diameter.com and looks to have sold Humbly.com to Humbly, LLC of Philadelphia.
  • 4.CN acquired over forty four-letter .COM domains and several five-number .COM's on behalf of its clients. They look to have also been active with three-letter .COM acquisitions recently, too.
  • Escrow.com are now handling the sale of Happy.co, according to WHOIS. The domain is now being used by HappyCo. Another .CO domain, Draft.co looks to have also entered Escrow.com's holding account very recently.
  • The domains DIK.com and VXE.com have been sold at Sedo.com and are currently using domain privacy.
  • NameFind sold many three-letter .NET domains, as well as several five-number .COM domains.
  • Frank Schilling sold Math.net, Knuckles.com and DNHO.com, to name just a few recent transactions. Frank continues to add to his portfolio by purchasing many two-word .COM’s such as AirportWorld.com, FriedEggs.com and SoundAngel.com.
  • The two-letter domain GG.com may have sold after the domain came out of privacy protection at eName.com.
Thanks to DomainIQ for providing the data used in this series.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
But why are the sellers/buyers of the domains are not revealing the.price.
Thanks for the information.

If a Buyer intends on reselling a domain then having that information publicly available might not always be in their interests. For instance Escrow.com will only publicly confirm the purchase price of a domain if both the buyer and seller consent to us doing so.

This is just what we found out, thanks to DomainIQ. Sales prices aren't always available. Would be nice if they were, but they're usually not.

It's common for them & many other Chinese brokerage companies to hold domains on behalf of their clients to obscure the client's identity.

Just wondering out loud -- DNHO.com was sold @ NameJet on 1-13-17 (according to Namebio) for $530.

It appears still parked/listed for sale. Fast sales/turnarounds happen, but at FS prices... ?
