Recently, I've had many friends come to me inquiring about how to join the Chinese domain market. I don’t think that I am an expert in it, but I may be able to share some of the wisdom that I do have. I objectively publish domain news to help those with enthusiasm in the Chinese market to have a better understanding of it. Here are recent domain sales with analysis:

1) Numeric domains
Single, double, triple, and quadruple digit(s) are favored, especially those containing 6, 8, or 9, which means luck, wealth, and permanence, respectively, or the combination of numbers in these patterns: AAA, AAB, ABB, ABC, or AABB.
2) Pinyin and abbreviation domains
Pinyin still dominates the market, especially single or tier pinyin, and abbreviation letters are also good since each letter could be associated with certain pinyin and the combination of pinyin could ultimately have great meaning and make good sense, e.g., “msj.com” could be explained as “MeiShiJie”, “MeiShiJia”, “MeiShuJia”, “MiaoShaJia”, “MaSanJia”, etc.
3) English domains
Short, daily-used English words are easily understood, and they are gaining in popularity.
