In this new blog series, I'm going to wear my Chinese hat to check whether user-submitted domain names can be turned into something meaningful and easy to remember for Chinese consumers. This is actually more challenging than it may sound, because numbers and letters do not have one-to-one relationships with Chinese words, and there are always exceptions. So, I will do my best to share my strategies, experiences, and methods with you from the perspective of a multilingual domain investor.

NameBio reports seven NLNL .com sales this year, and the most expensive one is 3G4G.com at $1,371.00, which is a special case because 3G and 4G actually have meaning, e.g. telecommunications.When I first saw 8F8G posted in my Chinese Perspective thread, I immediately thought it might be good. Here are the reasons based on my understanding of the Chinese culture.
- Chinese love the number 8, so any name containing 8 is usually good.
- A repeating pattern of 8 is even better.
- Chinese love 4-pin (four Pinyin words). Many Chinese idioms are 4-pin.
FandGhave positive meanings.- The resulting Chinese phrase can become a great brand tied to the finance industry. The phrase is also easy to remember for consumers.

F and G to find 富(rich) + 贵(noble) as a commonly used phrase with very good meaning. So, 8F8G now becomes 8富8贵 in Chinese. The more I say it in Chinese, the more I could see it becoming a favorable brand name. It could be used for any site relating to money, such as selling financial products.PCQB

SJV has many positive meanings, having CN at the end may be challenging if you want to create a meaning for the name. Generally speaking, 5L+ (5 letters or more) are difficult to work on because they are so long. However, many Chinese investors buy in volume, so they likely don't spend the time to confirm that each 5L has meaning. The investigation into a name's meaning ("the naming game") is more for end-user sales.Here are some examples of what

CN at the beginning of the name, because it's more common to start with a geographical name followed by something else, e.g., Beijing Lawyers.37387

3 and an 8, which are very popular and positive numbers. Then, we can split the number into 37 and 387. If you say it in Chinese, it's very smooth (easy to say) and easy to remember.Here's the meaning that could be associated with
