I registered a few German geo-domains today. What do you guys think?

Zentralafrikanischerepublik.de- German for "Central African Republic." 6.1 million Google.de results.

jungferninseln.ch- German for "Virgin Islands." Switzerland ccTLD. More than 7 million Google.ch results. Name is taken on many extensions.

Turksundcaicos.com- German for "Turks and Caicos." More than 70 million Google.de results.

Do these domains look like investments that will pay off? Any idea of value?

I'm not German, Swiss, Turk or Caico, so to me these names are valueless unless developed.

Value: Recommend development. Reg fee until then

Have you ever heard of the Turks and Caicos Islands? And obviously I would target my names at a German-speaking audience.

Don't worry, I won't delete my post this time. :)

They might be of use to a travel company that offers vacation packages to those areas, or as a general information portal about the locations, tailored to your audience.

I'm thinking I might create an information portal to get some traffic and then sell. Thanks for the help.

my word of advice is dont register domains in a language that you are unfamiliar with and learn how to use the Google Keyword tool
