YouTube question

Why doesn't YouTube have a US site? They have U.K, Canada, and about 20 other countries. Every time I get on to check out the top videos, it reverts me to UK instead of Global so 10 of the top 50 clips are always soccer clips. I guess Canada is pretty close; I understand UK is still English, but with all the soccer and other clips that relate to UK-only things, it's a little irritating... anyone else notice this?

Have some similar probs...when i click on a youtube link(.com) it sends me to the taiwan site...i checked my computer for a spyware/adwae/virus bu but nothing was found...so maybe utube itself is doing somethin to raise traffic for under traffic parts of there network?(just a guess)

same problem happend with me few weeks i opened the link in you tube and taiwan site was opened i checked for spyware and atonce closed the application

how do you view youtube btw?
i have a folder with them, just like anybody else? im always redirected to global.
