Youtube for SEO

Has anyone used Youtube for SEO? I did notice that when we search for any keyword, there are always Youtube videos on every page. I have started playing with them already, and it seems that I got increased traffic here.

What about you guys?

YouTube is very beneficial in SEO point of view because it is owned by Google. We must make a separate channel for each website and submit the link in channel details as well as in each YouTube video.
Try to add different links of the website in each video.

• You can make a blog also with the help of that video

Yes YouTube can help you to generate good traffic for your website, creating quality video and promoting it through your Chanel will help to generate traffic towards your website, using some description with keywords will help to rank that video and if it is ranking on the top position for certain keywords then their is high chance of traffic coming to your website from that Chanel or video and this is the reason people use YouTube as well for SEO.

Not sure about SEO but it does help in terms of website promotion. I don't use Youtube, and I keep saying I really want to get into it but I'm just not into videos much. Many people get a lot of traffic coming in from Youtube.

I worked for company that every day genereted a small videos (news like). They published it in YouTube channel ()it was hundreds of them there) but did not used ANY descriptions or tags (sounds funny but its true). I also played with them and some videos gave good traffic to our site from Youtube.the main secret was to use lots of DIFFERENT tags and keywords. Also site has raised in SERP after 3 months of doing so. But it was BEFORE Panda and Penguin updates of Google. Doubt that this trick is workin till now.

before I was active doing this, and I'm using a free tool called Tubemogul.com I'm not part of them in any way, just in case you want to start it right, you have to upload one time a video then they will distribute it for you.

I agree with the yaayys! I havent personally used youtube for seo, but it wasnt until i viewed a few videos that i became familiar with websites that i visit to this day.

I ran a very large test by getting people on fiverr to say what I gave them via a script, basically to test if videos could rank for generic phrases in my industry. At first they all got a lot of traction, but after a while it fell a little. I still see some referral traffic and sure it helps branding. This is my advice after doing thousands of dollars of promotion and 200+ videos

1) Less is more. Do high quality vidoes. It's cliche but works
2) If you go the bulk / mass route be sure to go it all the way, with images and whatever cheap tactics you can used. This will probably lead to either a banning or very low conversions though

Higher production means more investment but certainly worth it as Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine in the UNIVERSE!

I have not used youtube for promotion concerns. Can anyone share the information that Does youtube allow to post any kind of site link for which i am trying to upload the video? Because if it allows then i can assume that my site would have a youtube back link otherwise the primary concern would only be promoting the videos?

I also use the you tube marketing. We can get the traffic from the video. but also get the no follow attribute of the link.
Youtube is good platform for sharing the video on all over the world.
