Hello Fellas,

In a name for a business which provides a service, which is best?

xxxxxxconversion(s)

xxxxxxconvertor(s)

....and....if one has gone, which one to reg?

(sorry, dont mean to start off the old chestnut about singular or plural - that part of the question is meant to be specific to this business - providing a non-internet service to the general public).

Thanks to any replies.

convertor is a bit more ACTION oriented. But it is hard without knowing the full story. Conversion seems a static. hope that makes sense and its only my opinion.

Conversion is more "abstract" too so you can have a bit more freedom - tough call.

I'd prefer "conversion" because, well, sometimes I spell "convertor" with an "er". And I'm probably not the only one :)

Go for "conversion" if it's for one service. If you are offering more than one service then go for the plural one. :imho:
