Well I finished the initial grind on domainportfolio.ca
It's a name I picked up 3 weeks ago for $50.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen any portfolio site like it.
I have to finish each individual lander and then there are another dozen or so additional names to add, as well as a clearance page with BIN's.

I would appreciate some constructive criticism.

I don't like websites that make noise. This can be annoying for people who browse the Internet at the office: coworkers are immediately made aware you are probably not doing productive work.

this is offtopic but hope does not get removed.

imo first thign to go should be sound.

I also think the graphics are too much.. too coloroful.. and distracting.

I do find them moving background digitized images cool.. animations.. the full scren ones.. and then you put your site over this background... so if you can find one of those.. then there is an idea.

alll the best.

I'm with you on that one but......

There is something about the retro styling of that site that amuses me.
It caught and held my attention which is outside of the norm.

Graphics are too much but that retro TV think...... I don't know..... I think it works, I really like it.

PS. It is not off topic because we are reviewing a .ca and this is a showcase topic (y)

That's a good point, but I'm really targeting marketers and C level executives, and of course .ca wholesalers. I don't think they have to worry about their co-workers.
I appreciate the feedback. Don't forget to test the contact form by making an offer.:xf.wink:

Thanks for the Customizr heads up. Havenโ€™t heard of it before but it looks really useful and something I best look into further (y)

It's the most mobile friendly template I have ever used, virtually idiot proof. You set it up for desktop and it just does the job in mobile. I usually disable all the sliders, never been a fan of them, I find them quite annoying and I usually block them.

I donโ€™t like sliders either, I like simple design and watching a couple of YouTube vids looks easy to disable.

I need to redo my main domain site and this might make it more doable for a tech challenged person like myself. :xf.smile:

Don't buy the paid version of customizr, I have used the free version for years and other than limiting the colours and fonts to about ten there are no real limitations.

That was my next question.... what version, so thanks
