Hi,

I am building a debt relief/debt managment site @ Debtornator.com. I am wondering if I should remove graphic/logo at the top left corner and replace it with simply the name of the site. Does the graphic make the site look less formal and serious?

I don't think there's a problem with your graphic being inappropriately informal, but I do think it needs to blend in with the rest of your design better (you might achieve that by leaving the graphic untouched but changing the design elsewhere).

I agree, the logo does not blend well at all with the site. I'm thinking you are developing this site to make money off of adsense of course but users eyes are drawn to your logo.

I would not change the site to match the logo because you have a great looking site that is easy on the eyes.

I would make the logo match the rest of the site. The logo is not going to make you money, but it will distract the user the way it is.

Make it blend with the rest of your site, take out all of the colors that don't belong (everything but shades of blue and black) and you will be good to go!

It seem as if you have already taken out the graphic. Right now the site looks very white and bland. I would recommend spicing it up with some color.

Yeah, it seems that you've already taken out the logo. The site looks a little plain now, try adding some colours to the background etc..
