Your Favorite Sale

My favorite sale would have to be to Jesse Draper. I sold www.ValleyGirl.tv to her several years ago. It is a fun little site, and I cannot believe the people she gets to interview on there, people like Mark Cuban, etc.

There are certainly larger sales that I have made over the years, but I think that one is the one that makes me smile the most.

What would be your favorite sale? Any particular reason? Not necessarily your largest sale. That is important, but not really the focus of the thread. What sale makes you smile when you think back on it. Any reason?

My favorite sale was www.wwrep.com It was at least 4 years ago.

I registered it for $9.51 and parked it at Sedo and started receiving about one hit per day. So, I decided to search for wwrep using Google. I found a company that whose domain name was www.ww-rep.com

I contacted the company via their contact page and let them know that I believed my version of their name was a better fit. The president of that company bought the name from me for $3,000 using PayPal. I even had to show him how to setup a Moniker account so I could PUSH it to him.

This sale was the one that let me know I could make extra money selling domains. Been bit-by-the-bug ever since.
