Is there anyone who let their names expired then been caught by the drop vultures and eventually went for more than 3-figures?
Pls list them down if you wish to disclose it.

I would be gutted if that name went for 1k. I might commit suicide.
So i was just getting some infos from other domainers.

In fact the bastard went and registered it one minute after a phone call with me where I mentioned I was going to check that name. Two years later he changed his email address, didn't get the renewal notification, and it dropped. Better still, a month after I picked it up he called me up with this sob story about how it was all a mistake and I should give him the name if I didn't have plans to develop it.

I'm still thinking how to stimulate this drop names sudden upheaval of psychological desire and apply them on non-expired names.
If my research succeded, you guys will be able to enjoy "synthetic drop auction", more rip-offs,more profits. .... YAHOO!!!

xdomainer said:Interesting you mention the word "synthetic". There is an eBay seller that goes by "Synthetic Rhyme" or something like that. He (or she) does pretty well I think for it being eBay. I notice most of the domains sold are not anything special, and seams to me the seller is not selling high quality domains on purpose. Just a supplemental income selling *B-movie* .coms.
