.mobi Your Developed .Mobi Sites With Traffic

For those of you with developed .mobi websites that receive traffic, I would like to know approximately how many visitors you get a day, and about how many ad clicks you get daily on your website. If you don't mind I'd also be interested in knowing what the site is too so we can all learn what a really good mobi site is like.

www.dunce.mobi launced last Sunday and so far I received a little over 3,000 requests through Godaddys hosting. But I don't know too much about wat a request means, since multiple requests can be from the same user.

Are you using any ppc form of advertising to promote your site?

nothing yet, I have it www.dir.mobi listed and its on www.top-10.mobi

The rest is by word of mouth (i have emailed all my friends about it and told them to check it out ect..) and I think mostly through namepros.

Good luck with everything. It's one of the better sites I have seen built with that tool. It's a shame you can't put in an admob ad with it.

I'm gona use mobisitegalore for dunce.mobi and for ignorant.mobi for about another month or 2 and then get it professionly develeloped (But only after my other (2 priority .mobi site gets developed first. These other sites may cost me a little bit more then mobisitegalore. :lol:

i own http://klubs.mobi it gets between 30 and 50 unique visits a day with 0 click thrus .. i use admob. i think im taking admob off it now.

30-50 Uniques daily isn't bad. No click thrus, hmm. Admob is a mixed bag, I wonder if anyone makes any real money with them.

Your site looks pretty sweet though.

Screenings.mobi gets about 5-20 uniques per day (listed in mobi directories and at pinky.mobi). Have made $2 with Admob so far. :lol:

I wanted to share the sucess I am getting with dir.mobi for quite some time now and thanks to thinking1 for starting this thread.

dir.mobi:

I am getting around 25-30k hits per day ( not uniques) right now. I have admob serving ads on dir.mobi and initially I used to get about $2-3/day with about 2k-3k hits per day and now gradually it is about $12/day on-average, sometimes goes as high as $18/day.

eIndia.mobi:

Here I am now getting about 2k to 3k hits per day and less then a dollar a day. I still need to put more content on this site.

I hope this will encourage all at NP to develop more sites. It takes some time to develope a site with lot of contents and get some good traffic but it does pay-off in long run. It's not much right now as it pays for the hosting ( $100/month) and some but it is a good start considering it's a 5 month old site. :imho:

I did use Google adwords to start with for some time but did not spend much as I was not getting enough traffic. Now It's taking off on it's own.

That's awesome. I can't believe that. I wouldn't doubt it if dir.mobi is making more money daily than any other Mobi site.

One more thing I want to point out is that 90% of traffic is from cell phones and 10% from PC.

Question about admob

Hi,

I went to admob.com to look into advertising on my youthsports.mobi website. I was wondering, is it worth the effort. e.g. ballpark cpm rates.

I am hoping that Google would soon announce some kind of adsense product for mobile devices but haven't seen anything yet.

Is admob the only .mobi advertiser out there or are there others worth looking at.
