I just found out almost accidentally that I cannot change my IPs anymore on GoDaddy.com and I can only change my NS.

What do you use and how do you like it? Why do you like it?

thanks.

enom - buggy
moniker - support don't respond to my emails
netfirms - pffft
dotster - something smells fishy
godaddy - awful, but cheap
estdomains - who?
dynadot - best so far, or maybe I've just not been with them long enough for them to let me down

I like enom... no problems with them so far.

I think GoDaddy has the best control panel for managing domains in bulk. Better even than eNom's control panel. I think GoDaddy's ToS sucks, but that's mostly a problem for people with developed domains. I move any developed domains to eNom. My respect for eNom has declined somewhat but still they're better than the rest as an overall package. Dealing in domains, you pretty much have to have accounts with these 2 largest registrars.

All of my names are Reg'd with GODADDY, GD for short.. :)

I like GD. The control panel is easy to use and good for large amounts of DNs. Also they are always available when I call with a problem, which is not too often. Just don't try backordering from them.. they are not very good at that.

I take it you've already asked them about this?

Dynadot for tasting and some reg's. Moniker for a lot of them. Godaddy as well.

Enom - Solid and reliable
Dotster - Satisfactory, reliable, but weak in management interface
Fabulous.com - Solid, the best management and portfolio controls, but only does 4 TLD's
Godaddy - Difficult controls, but reliable, many TLD's, but the priceyest of all my registrars.

eNom - never dealed with the
DomainSite - I love them but support is hard to get ahold of at times and website is ugly as hell.
GoDaddy - Great support bad interface.
Dotster - eww
moniker - alright, I can't say nothing bad about them.........so far.

Domainers are in the best of buying and selling domains so the quality of the push facility must be a key factor in choice of registrar. The Namecheap facility is so simple and straightforward that it is the equivalent of travelling business class as compared to the Godaddy economy class.

Godaddy
-Issued a fast refund (Failed Transfer) due to 60-day rule.
-Phone support was great (Account Lock/Password reset)
-Easy Push
-Lots of annoying offers to checkout.
-Kinda crappy interface

Moniker
-Security
-Slow support
-Easy Push
-I still haven't gotten my "special" np discount.

Enom
-I like their interface
-Never had to call/email in for support.
-Easy Push

Majority of my names are at Godaddy. Few are at Enom. Only had 1 at Moniker.

GoDaddy
- Like their interface, and they're pretty cheap.
- Never had any problems with them

Moniker
- Support isn't great.
- The "Special " NP and DNF pricing is only available once you pre-fund your account; something they don't mention in their advertising threads. I find this a bit deceptive personally.
- Very nice security.
- If you do fund/pre-pay your account, their prices are cheaper than GoDaddy's. :)

eNom
- Nice interface
- Support sucks. I had a terrible experience with eNom. They deleted my largest site's DNS (this site gets millions of page views per month), and then they locked me out from changing the DNS back. This meant that my site was pretty much a blackhole (pointing to nothing), and Google dropped me due to this. It taken about 6-7 days to transfer the domain out of eNom (they never bothered to reply to any support tickets or e-mails), and then I could finally put the DNS back. As such I'll never use eNom for any domains with websites attached.

Overall, I've have bad experiences with Moniker and eNom, however GoDaddy have been great for me.

With this kinda serious problem I'm surprised you resorted to email/ticket system. You should have been calling them.

I have been using 4 diffrent

NameCheap - Got 92% of my names here, great company, great support :)
DynaDot - I use this for .ws domains not bad at all.
IDotz - Not bad either, good support etc.
GoDaddy - I have 3 domains here and i dont like them at all you have to go true like 832 offers before you finaly get to the checkout :/ And wtf is up with sending domains to another user you need adress, phone etc... Blah...

I wasn't into domaining at the time, hence I really wasn't sure of the protocol. Plus I live outside of the USA, and aren't even sure if I'm able to ring the USA from my landline/phone.

I would have thought that the eNom guys should have been able to address the issue via e-mail/tickets?

I am working with Godaddy for my affiliate websites and directories and with more than 7-8 other for domains.

In my opinion namecheap and godaddy are the best. :kickass:

I feel your pain about living outside US, but on important occasions necessity makes a call necessary. It sounds like you were a sub-account. You are aware that you are supposed to get support from your parent reseller and not eNom directly?
