Domain Hijacked by my Registrar

Hello,
I am at my wits end with Dimereseller, who is my registrar of one of my domains. I have repeatedly asked them to change me DNS and they refuse to do it because I don't have hosting with them.

Every time I try and go do it manually, which I know very well how to change a DNS on a domain name, I keep getting "We're sorry, but an error has occured.
DNS modification error". This is when I ask them to change it.

I cannot even input my contact info regarding my domain name. I even tried transferring my domain name to another registrar but the system and the registrar will not give me the EPP code.

So, here's my question, what is my recourse. What can I do to fix this mess. I have documentation should the need arises.

Any inputs, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I actually spoke to someone at GoDaddy.com but they are not affilaited with Dimereseller according to support.

Go ahead and call them. If they don't take care of you, let us know.

I just tried it but all I received was an email saying that there was an offer for $1. So I went to my account but I can't find it nowhere to accept the offer.

I may have to breakdown and get the $1.50 hosting just so I can get EPP and transfer it but I don't see that as a guarantee.

How about selling your domain to yourself (from a different registrar) so you can get the hell out of there?

By the way, I read their Terms Of Service, everything written there are geared towards "web hosting". No rules on domains only.

Have you considered looking at the whois for the domain? It tells you in this who the icann accredited registrar is.

Also what are you actually trying to change on their system? If you have nameservers pointing to another server that they do not control then you will not be able to use them to change a records, mx records etc etc you will only be able to change the nameservers. To change the records you would use your host.
