It wouldn't surprise me he had (many) more but seriously, who cares? It's his private life, it's only the business of him, his family and the women involved. The rest of the world has no business with what Tiger Woods is doing off the golf court. As I said in a different topic, it is quite silly that sponsors are ditching him for reasons that have nothing to do with his sporting performances (and those golf results are what they signed him for in the first place, not for anything remotely close to his private life)

PS: Tiger has good taste in women.

easy to have good taste when your a world famous billionaire lol

It's his personal life, but they dropped him because it affects his public image, which influences would-be buyers of their products).

Reading that story left me shaking my head. The girl is saying how she feels so "violated" - HELLO, don't you think that making out with him within sight of his home while his WIFE was there, violated someone else just an eensy, teensy bit???

Whatever happened to "you just don't DO that?"

the real reason she feels so violated is he probably pulled the old "we're getting a divorce" on her

When did Tiger find any time to play golf?

Yea, When DID he find time to play golf ?

I think there are many more who haven't broken their silence yet but might.
Just when you think its over.. another one shows up!

When did the Chelsea players have time left to train rather than sleep with a French model?
When did Wayne Rooney have time to visit a brothel (while he was still with Everton) instead of going to trainings?
When did Ashley Cole find time to play games when he was busy with his mistress?

In other words: I wouldn't like to keep track of the number of celebrities who cheat on their partners, drink, do drugs, ... or any other thing that should stay out of the limelight to protect their public image.

In a way it's none of our business really. Who cares if Tiger Woods slept with 10 women the day before he wins a golf tournament? The winning of the tournament is public business, the rest isn't. Period.

As for commercials, he can probably cash in on his new image and find new sponsors to replace the ones that dropped him. Imagine this commercial:

Tiger Woods, with a really seady look on his face and with a revealingly dressed girl lurking to him, walks into a dark alley in the red light district, puts some coins in a condom vending machine ... and then the slogan comes up: "Durex. If you want to be a real Tiger in your bed".

For every sponsor he lost he can easily get a new one :) Point is: those sponsors signed him because he plays good golf, not for his private life. I still think it's silly to ditch him for things that have nothing to do with the reasons why they signed the deals in the first place. Also, one has to be very silly to buy a product just because Tiger Woods fakes to use it. I saw Gillette razorblade commercials with less than 10 seconds of Thierry Henry and Roger Federer claiming to shave themselves with Gillette ; what a waste of money I'd say, because would any man really suddenly buy a Gillette razor with the sole motivation that Federer would use it?!

These sponsors cant be replaced for the same $ as Tigers got a premium for his image, class, and role model status above golfing skills.

A loser that plays great golf and happens to win money ....is still a loser. Golf and the fame he gets feeds his ego....but really, what else has he got to look forward to? :imho: We'll hear more eventually.

He certainly has been busy in between playing golf ;) I wonder how this latest news will affect his career again.

When the whole story first broke and sponsors began to drop him, I understand that Ashley Madison made him an offer. (Yes, for real.)

Consciously, people don't make purchase decisions because of the celebrity pitching them, but subconsciously it influences peoples' perception of the product. That's why companies pay those folks the big $$$$$$$'s.

Well, I can't totally blame Tiger for having another affair. He's got money and good looks...thus, temptation pours like rain.

He has certainly scored in more holes than any other professional golfer out there :D

A Cheetah!

That is so funny! Unfortunately it is also so true. What this person does is important because a lot of kids look up to him. He is getting away with cheating and making it seem cool to some. I wish someone would just sue him for something so he can spend time in jail to think about his misdeeds.

Suing doesn't put people behind bars. Besides he doesn't deserve to go to jail for his infidelity even though his wife may agree. But you are so right when it comes to kids....especially his own.

The entertainment world loves these celebrity mishaps and controversies as we all know. They promote them. Look at Nike's latest commercial with Tiger's fathers voice over.

In a recent interview, Tiger made a joking reference to "looking forward to fans cheering him on" for (then short pause and smirk)......"my return to golf" (side referencing "the cheering" from fans for his infidelity).

Tiger didn't learn from his publicly aware infidelity. He was right on target during The Masters tournament recently when he was caught via microphone, after a golf mishap, talking to himself saying "Tiger Woods....you're a loser" :bingo:

I remember going to a WWF wrestling event years ago when Stone Cold Steve Austin was chugging beer in a can and women wrestlers were (accidentally?) topless....and I looked around to see the thousands of children in the crowd watching this. Unreal!

Try sitting through a Disney movie without picking up on one or two sexual reference undertones. The latest is the Toy Story 3 preview when Barbie makes an "ASS-...." reference to Ken. Like this makes me feel warm and fuzzy about my children hearing this.

I can't even drive past a Hooters without my daughter asking why we can't stop to see the owls. Try to explain that one.

I can't take my children into gas stations because there are row after row of cigarette packs and cartons on the wall right out in plain sight.

Adults (and parents unfortunately) who play off immaturities and selfishness with their money and glory just ruin it for those who just want normalcy for their childrens lives. This is freedom to them..... but it truly takes freedoms away from the rest of us who try to give our children appropriate securities, freedoms and values.

Not sure what the latter has to do with Tiger Woods, but I also wonder why a topless woman, a very innocent tongue-in-cheeck remark or a pack of cigarettes are so harmful. Those things sound pretty innocent compared to some things you see on TV or the internet daily.

Not sure what the latter has to do with Tiger Woods,.

The latter was in reference to adults, including Tiger Woods, and even people and corporations in high power and influence, who really have no clue or concept to how their decisions can effect how children percieve the values they should uphold on display, like Tiger's children and other people's children who look up to these public displays as role models for their decisions, as jimmyjames was generalizing in his post.

but I also wonder why a topless woman, a very innocent tongue-in-cheeck remark or a pack of cigarettes are so harmful.

These things are innapropriate for children, and in many ways can become harmful, with or with out parental or "so called" parental guidance in a world where a child's civil needs and individual rights and ethics should exceed distorted and inadvertent parental values and ethics. Especially when these bipass common sense.
