Doesn't surprise me, the way some people treat dogs like human members of their family. You'd buy something like that to assist your son/daughter... granted I wouldn't let my dog on my bed or couch anyways, but obviously market research showed enough people would buy something like this for their dogs. Doesn't surprise me one bit.

The TV commercial had me LOL'ing .... and Today I visited the site :red:

The part that gets me is where they show it outside to help the pet get in the vehicle - If you can carry those steps around for your Dog .... Surely you can pick up the Dog ( And don't list Dogs I can't pickup --- They can get in themselves if they're that big :p ). It just struck me as funny ....

I do admit though - These people are making money It seems to be part of one of the "As Seen On TV" moguls.

And for Only $39.99 ... but don't even get me started, my wife saw this once on TV and went batty - she told me to get one for our two little pupps! Honest to Goodness, she did! I'm just very fortunate she doesn't watch much TV (and silly commercials), and I'm now going to do everything I can to prevent her from seeing this clip here in the thread ("Hey, why didn't you ever get the pupps those steps that I was telling you about, you could have got that for them for Chrismas ... " ).

The rotisserie is awesome I must say You don't need Spices for a Chicken or Turkey Breast .... I just finished off the Xmas Turkey I cooked in it - Darn Good !

Not all dogs can jump... Especially older dogs or dogs with disabilities. Plus there are a lot of old people who cant really lift their dogs up easily due to health problems or general old age, so something like this could be very useful. I have a miniature dachshund who has spinal damage (its fairly common due to their long backs), and her back legs don't work at all. I'd really need a ramp, as opposed to steps, but the only place she would need lifted up would be the couch, and I'm not too lazy to pick her up, but my wife and I have discussed it

Alot of old people get dogs after they lose a spouse or after their kids all move away, so yeah, they do tend to treat their pets like kids. I'm young and I treat my pet like a kid. It's easier to train a dog than a kid

Mark: Anything by Ron Popeel is great. He is like the king of informercial stuff as far as I am concerned... He sells great quality things. I don't think he's ever sold something that wasn't great. Most of his stuff I would never use though, just because I don't have a need for it.
