Established xbox halo fan site over 1100 members

The term 'Camp Froman' comes from a hidden easter egg sign inside of Halo 2. It is a well known little secret for Halo 2 fans. The site has only been live for a couple months and already has 1121 members. The site is basic with just a forums currently. I run no ads so there is no revenue. The site is too new for PR as well.

I am selling this site for it's pure potential which is really obvious. 20-40 new signup members per day!!!

Umm...he didn't ask a question. Or at least not an intelligent one. You can see the site for yourself. There are 1200 posts currently and growing. The admin panel says:
Posts per day: 32.68

This has been growing site I took over the site.

Actually not each member posts. Many forums have hundreds of members that never make a single post. I have set a few of the forums to be readable only by members so they sign up just to read. Some choose to post and stick around.

The new owner should do some giveaway or something in order to promote posts and get conversations going. When I got the site there was 600 members and only 500 posts about. Now there are 1127 members and 1209 posts. So the post count is going up.

I also didn't mention there are at least 2 good dedicated moderators that participate.

I have also wishing to be moderators as well.

Now I have done zero promotion for this site yet it get a couple hundred visits daily and a high percentage of member signups. A little tweaking to spark some conversations and the site would become very active. I personally am too involved in pspforums.com and just bought 360forums.com so I do not have the time to push the site forward and prefer to pass it to a qualified buyer.

I count 201 members have made posts. So some have made one and others dozens. There are about 900 that never made a post. All this you can see by viewing the member list at the site. It's all transparent.

Oh one last note:

The site was only started April 10th. Yeah..so it's gotten this far in less than 6 weeks.

The name alone, IMO, is about the value you are asking.

I think I have the old design still but it was aweful imho. It was just a free template from phpbb and it was really hard to read.

ok im not sure what is going on here but the current template is a free phpbb one as well. i am interested in xbox traffic as i am developing the name kingdomx.com however, i must say that the stats vs members do indeed look a bit off.

can you give me something here to justify the price?

I believe the price is justified by the members who sign up daily to see what's going on. While activity could be better it's not that hard to start discussions with a few incentives...like giveaways. It's much harder to get traffic than it is to start discussions. You can view traffic stats here:

As for the template...yes it's a free phpbb template and I never said otherwise.

The site is getting 202 average visits a day and 2000 page views. This is more than enough to spark a very strong active forums with very little work. I however don't want to bother as I have to begin 360forums.com this week and seriously don't want this site. I don't even play Halo! I bought the site from a friend and I have been caring for it ever since. I bought it to resell. Make me an offer.

I also give value to the name. It is a great commonly known name in the halo world. It makes for a great fan website name as well. You can easily place a phpbb frontend /portal and make the site much more than a forums. This was my original intention but time has not been available. My asking price is rather reasonable and I will consider offers as well. Since this has been on sale for bit I will lower my buy it now to $500 and I will start accepting bids at $180! yeah....that's a good deal

Word of mouth and type ins. The Halo fan base is very large. The site has posts for xbox live exploits. There is no illegal downloads at the site at all in case you wonder. I am sure that players tell other players about the site. Also Camp Froman is a popular term for the gamers. Most Halo fans know about "Camp Froman" so I am pretty sure the type-ins are there. OVT with ext is 38. OVT for CampFroman is 29 and Camp Froman is 25. So you can see that people do type this in.

Like I been saying...with very little care and work this site would balloon up. I am tempted to keep it..really I am but I just don't play Halo and I am too damn busy. But for $200 ..jeez.. I gotta think I should do the work and sell this when it has 5000 members and 20k posts.

BAH...this is the only sale I have ever done that frustrated the hell out of me. I really don't see why you guys are not catching on to this site. What's the real problem? At this point I don't care if the sale thread gets crapped on. The $200 bid is a freaking joke for a site with this traffic and member signups.
