Hi please can somebody take a look at my new forum and pick it to pieces lol!!

To be honest i know very little about web design but i got the domain name and the idea and created a forum for people with fears and phobias and its beginning to kick into life pretty rapidly.

I know its a very basic forum but most of the members praise it for being laid out so well and easy on the eyes.

I would still like to knowof ways of jazzing it up without spoiling that!!

Thanks in advance

Jonny

Better than many other "generic" forums that i've seen before.

Your logo is off-center, the tealish color doesn't exactly represent fear to me, looks more like care bear land. ;)

Kudos for the idea with the topic, though! Great idea!

I'd maybe consider editing the size of the forum to always go for 80% or 90% of the screensize, this way you'd gain the side panels for:
-news
-advertising/ads
-latest posts
-links
-etc.

Best of luck!

Many thanks for your thoughts and ideas.

Your comments about the colour, i understand it might look a bit care bearish but these people hate fear so i dont want them to be confronted with colours that strike fear, rather something more calming.

Thats nice what you say about the idea:) I will continue to see how the memberlist grows and then seek professional help with jazzing it up a little and centering the logo lol!!

Thanks once again

Jonny

I like it, but, as mentioned, the teal dosn't really suit it. I think it would be better with darker colours.
I'll join (arachnophobia here, not been diagnosed or anything but I'm sure i've got it), whether I stay active or not is another matter... lol

Oh, and your using phpBB2, yay!
