No they bought a business. The domain name will never be reported anywhere that the industry acknowledges. DNJournal or Namebio.
If it so why do they include the domain name "TheMarkets.com" not a "Cool Example Inc" ?

They probably acquired a file cabinet also in the purchase of this company.

That does not mean the file cabinet sold for 300 million.
