What's the general concensus on .ws domains? If all other extensions are taken is that a good reason to get .ws?

.ws will be interpreted by different people in various manners. Personally speaking, I have a couple of them myself but I don't really forsee the extension as a particularly valuable one. I think the extension makes it worthfile for developing since .ws makes one think of .website even though it's actually a ccTLD for Western Samoa. I've sold a name here and there and if you can come across a good keyword it might be worth it but otherwise I'd say it's not a particularly strong one right now. That may change if you're willing to hold on to the names for a few years.

.ws in my opinion is like one of those names like .cc, where they are easy to remember and everything but there isn't exactly a great use for it. For example, .ws is mostly interpreted as .website. I really can't find a use for that. Anyways, that's just me.

If all other extensions are taken and if you find a good keyword domain with a .ws extension then I think it's worth getting it. You can then develop that name into something relevant or hold on to it for a few years for it's value to increase.

Yes, take it.
.ws and .cc are the better ccTLD to register.

There the kind of extension you register if everything else is gone and youve got a killer developable domain on your hands. Dont really see a value in them.

.ws is suggested to stand for web site or world site,there are no geographic restrictions on registration of .ws domains.
