Hey, Hey, Hey

As most of your guys may have known that Business.co.uk, Traffic.co.uk, Radio.co.uk have been available for month to reg. (At least I should say HI to GoPC:)

Days before...

I am one of the newbies tried to reg the traffic.co.uk days before, I purchased it at both Moniker and Domainsite, @Moniker it shows working order, but @Domainsite it shows successfully though there is a notice that .co.uk ccTLD may take days to be confirmed. :td: , after 1 hour, I have known that I didn't (and won't) win the lotto after reading some threads, e.g.

http://www.namepros.com/domain-name...-business-co-uk.html?highlight=business.co.uk

However, I am still happy, and saved the screen shot of TRAFFIC.CO.UK in my Domainsite account as a memory :xf.love:

Then, after 18 hours, Moniker noticed me that the pending order finally failed.
However, no any news came from Domainsite.

Now, after 1 week, I still haven't received the notice from Domainsite and of coz no refund to my paypal account. So I wrote a letter to [email protected] to enquire about my refund and explained the situation of traffic.co.uk

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

I have just received the prompt reponse from a Domainsite support staff, I quote the email here:

Hello,

We are happy to say that your domain name traffic.co.uk has been registered
successfully for two years.

Thank you,

I take it it didn't register...

Check more than one registrar for high-end domains, especially domainsite, they've been having real problems with their WHOIS lookups recently.

There's been many threads about this domain (and a few others)... I wrote nic.uk and asked them about the domain to which they replied that they were in negotiations to return the domain back to the previous owner. Something to do with the fact that the domain is PRE-NOMINET (primary registrar) and notifications/auto-renewals being different pre versus post.

99.9 % odds that the previous owner will retain the domain. That .01% chance of failure is based on the thougt that Nominet may be trying to Ransom it back to the previous owner and might fail.

Either way, This domain is on the pre-order, back-order, behind-the-scenes and mysterious-beyond list of every registrar on the Planet...

It WON'T come cheap however it is acquired. IF

Sigh...I emailed Domainsite again, and their reply is that there is no refund, because they could confirm the traffic.co.uk has been successfully registered by me....

Damn...do need the refund to reg other domains
