:bingo: Overdraftrecovery.com
I just purchased this domain a few days ago and am just thinking of all the possibilities, but I need to know some things. Like, what do you guys think of it? Does it really have the possible potential that I am thinking about? Why didn't anyone else register the domain before I did? What are your thoughts on Overdraftrecovery.com?

Collection Agency Name

Hello nighshift 187.

First of all, welcome to Namepros community.

You seemed very enthusiastic about this domain name.
Would you mind sharing 'how you would develop' this name?

Here's my idea:

Collection Agency Brand Name for bank collection recovery depts.

Other than that, this domain is very narrow in brandability.

But anyway, I hope you make the best of it.

Here's one advertiser that is activley marketing for bank collections:

Bank NSF Collections
$40-$10,000. Small fee per past due
account. 15 years of great results.
www.debttrackers.com

You may want to contact them with a proposal.

Thanks, I was thinking of making it THE website for consumers who simply get ripped off with all of these crazy overdraft fees and ridiculous occurances. Your idea is basically the same thing, lol. I just think it's a great name and I wouldn't mind helping people recover their losses.

Little more google results for me - 208
And Google show zero ads for it meaning no one is
seeking traffic for the search term of "Overdraft recovery".

Excellent and well thought out post. As it stands though the name is reg fee only ATM.

Ok forget about traffic right now, I was actually thinking of developing the site and getting it started, then I beleive with some careful planning I could really have something here. What do you think?

The way Google has different settings for everyone - It's nearly impossible for any 2 people to get the same results.

Results 1 - 45 of 45 for OVERDRAFTRECOVERY
Results 1 - 65 of 65 for "OVERDRAFT RECOVERY"
Results 1 - 4 of about 2 for "OVER DRAFT RECOVERY"

But it is pretty low for me as well -

Search Volume is only 46 per month via adwords (overdraft recovery) with a default minimum bid of .05$ ....

Sorry , But it isn't looking so good to me.

I'm thinking BIG here, sorry if I sound like a noob but I think "Overdraft Recovery" is something a lot of people would go to to recover their fees.

Yeah but what if I really work on this website to help people recover their lost fees, it should be beneficial right?

Well, I, like alot of people don't use quotes when searching,
never have! I didn't know it made a difference till I came
here. But I still don't use them when I'm looking for stuff,
and other than domainers, I don't know anyone who does.

No quotes:
Results 1 - 10 of about 260,000 for Overdraft recovery. (0.08 seconds)

Either way it'll be easier to find your site than 1 in 50,000,000 results
- provided people are made aware of it.

If you develop it may have some value (though not much IMO)...all names could benefit from some form of development.

What everyone is trying to tell you that the market is very small...hence less selling/monetizing opportunities which are proportionally small.

even if developed you don't have many potential buyers.

I stand by my reg fee comment and I'm sure most will agree.

Definitely!!! Any domain can be something if it is developed right. Evan a domain dinlgberry can be good If you develop it. And I just made that domain up, so if there is a dingleberry.com I wasnt talking about that :D

well thanks, but I knew the name wasn't worth much at all. What I am trying to get at here is that maybe I want to actually make the website and grab some employers and start helping people recover their lost fees?! You see what I mean? People are getting ripped by their banks all the time, this website would help them. That's got to be huge right there, isn't it?

I know what you are trying to do.
It's certainly possible, but...

As you can already see from SE results pages, there is no demand.
So, You are trying to create the market first.
Then, create demand from those market by educating them about your service.
Then, you will supply solution for demands from that market.

Again, this is possible, but, awfully hard to do and it's typical
when you fall in love with your ideas and/or domain names.
You rarely see much success from this method, but, if you do succeed,
this is where HUGE success come from.

It's your choice :D
