discuss Would you register domains in a numeric TLD?

Given the run-up in numeric domain prices the last year or so and massive speculation in numeric domains in even relatively unpopular TLDs, I am curious as to forum interest in a numeric TLDs? Would Icann allow them? What would make sense in a numeric TLD?
