.us Would you reg a long .us with over 200k ovt?

This might be the wrong place to ask this question given that .us lovers dwell here. I'm not sold on it b/c (other than lll.us) I have yet to make a significant .us sale. However, in my daily scans today I came across a 3 word term available in .us with about 207,000 ovt. The bids pay about $3 (and there's lots of them). To make any money (other than resale) I'd have to develop but it's a very competetive market to get any decent se ranking.

I know it's just a few bucks but I'm really working hard to skinny down my portfolio these days. What do you think?

how many characters in the name? If it's really long, kinda for SEO exclusively, then you'd need to do some serious developing before it'd be worth anything much. On the other hand, just a few clicks should cover for renewal. Is the same name with hyphens taken in the other tld's? If it is, then it may be worth grabbing in the .us without the hyphens- sign of high demand...

I find there are still lots of high-demand names unregged in the .us tld.

TermInsuranceQuotes.US - was regged in every tld (incl .mobi) excpet .biz - and yes, even the hypenated versions (singular and plural).

If "term insurance quotes" was a popular term then "term insurance" would be far more popular than that. However looking at the stats the reverse is true.

The wordtracker for "term insurance quotes" is 7, which suggests to me this term isn't popular by any stretch.
