Hi guys,
How are you all doing ?
I've found a .TV that the OVT for it's two words (before the dot, lol) is 1,293,530.
Google shows only 81,900 searches.
What to do ? :hehe:
On the other hand, I've found another good .TV that its OVT is 381,929 but the Google searches on this one are 422,000.
Both domains are with two words in it.
Both domains has the same word (and each have a second different word: one has it after if, and one has it before it).
The potential for dev. is huge, and I'm in a big dilema.
The 381,929 OVT one is for all of those who search the one term (that has it in both of them) and the second one, of those 1,293,530, is for a speceific region/religion, but hey... again - it's 1,293,530 :'(
What should a man do ?
Any thoughts are more than welcome !

With such high overture & the fact you feel development potential is 'huge' then of course reg it :imho:

The only reasons i can think for you not to reg it is if the 2 words are the wrong way round so make no sense & if there is no development ideas that suit the .tv extension.

Personally with the info given i would reg it in a heartbeat.

Good Luck, please let us know the domain once you have decided what to do.

Buy both of them! If the Overture is that high and the 'potential for development is huge' just buy them.

Agreed, buy them and park until done developing, this way you retain some chance for revenue until you're done.

And as for checking the on GoDaddy, have you lost your mind ?!?!?!?
Since I've lost "listen.fm" several hours after checking it - and it WAS FREE - I'm not checking new dn's on their system... (I'm checking on dynadot - it's safer, no ?)

I agree with everyone here, why would you not register both? ;)
I have no doubts that the domains where most likely on del.icio.us to get list. :)

Well,
I do not have them in my list ...

I've posted one of the names in this thread, and later realized that and removed it. Unfortunately, a person has picked that name before the removal of the domain name from this thread. :(

Honestly I didn't taken that name, and I didn't have any thoughts to regg that name.

Oh okay. I just thought that since you guessed the domain name that you probably had done so because you had it on your list.

In regards to the domain being regg, it wasn't me. It might of been DoubleClick, since he did say he regg one of the names.

Well...
The DN with more than MIL. OVT was regged, AND IT'S NOT ME !!!
The domain was JewishMatchmaking.TV
I've picked up the second one, and the one I think is better :
MatchmakingService.TV
I'm sure pissed off with the first one that was snapped just below my nose :-/

the counter for this sort of spying is to check a lot of trully shit names but that might appear to have high google and/or ovt. make 'em pay for their bad behaviour.

I feel very sorry for that DoubleClick. I have not taken JewishMatchmaking.tv, and I never had any intentions to buy it. :(

All this buuild up and drama for this:

matchmakingservice.TV

I have known of this names availability for 8 months. It has been on my massive list of available names and I even submitted it to at least 8 folks on this board and no one regged it. I can't say that it is a bad name but the length makes it a tough sell. If someone was really going to develop the name I doubt they would choose this one over matchmaker.tv or some other brandable name. Its overture does lend itself to a little value though. I think it would go for pretty low $XXX.
