Hello Dear Friends !

I would like to ask you , would you give a loan of 150 000 $ to somebody if he would give after 1 year +50 000$ (total 200 000$)

We suppose you really trust him and you , i mean security level is really high ?

What do you think please ?

Thanks

Olgi

Would I? Yes, but I always require collateral.(even to family) It just keeps things in balance.

200K requires an exceptional level of trust. As noted above, I would be looking for some asset to insure repayment or recovery of my investment.

Where else you gunna ... get 33.33% annual return on your money? :gl: :talk: :lala:

PS. Get collateral, "in writing", legal, etc. beforehand! :imho:

Hell, I had my brothers fully restored 67' Galaxy convertible :kickass: locked away with a signed pink for several months. That repayment came in full and on time.;)

Yes you need collateral. A second position on adequately valued/appraised property, even a third is relatively ok. I would also make sure that you understand what the funds are being used for. You may have collateral on something but if worse came to worse...you'd be stuck with a portion of an asset that you would ultimately have to deal with/sell etc.

Huh? Thing? :|

The collateral (asset / equity) - provided they even have enough to over the full $200,000 - should come from that someone you're considering lending to, IMHO. :gl:

Internet? I'd think twice, it's too easy to get burned on the net. It must also be something tangible and verifiable by a third-party.
