discuss Would Domainers stop domaning ??

Hello everyone !!
I was recently comparing the prices of the renewals from different registrars and i found that some of them charge so high per renewal a year almost $35 bucks ( without mentioning registrars ). I was thinking that since there is a high demand for domains then what would Domainers do if the price went up for renewal ?

Would still consider domaining as good investment ?

Probably not if I was a dealer in high value names, but I'm a bottom feeder, so I would certainly rethink my portfolio. In fact I'm dropping my info, xyz and in names because of the reg fees. Those were registered to use rather than to sell though. I'm having a rethink about the couple of .nets that I've got as well.

Same here - as I'm newer to this business I don't have high value names that I can sit on for years ... or maybe they might become high value if I sit on them! Ha ha!

Almost my names are in GoDaddy.

I have 700 names, and with Go Daddy Domain Discount Club account, i just need to pay 8.47 $ for each name.
Of course i live far away The States, so i don't have to pay 10% VAT fee.

Try to get as many good domain as you can, while other guy move their capital into Crypto.

The majority of domainers are losing money anyway, even with .com at $10/year. Raising domain prices would only make the business even less sustainable for them.
To put it differently: in current conditions, domain names are already a bad investment for most people...
