What do you think is going to happen? Do you see World War III happening soon?

The terrorist state of Israel will probably attack syria next...and Iran has already said that it will not tolerate it..so iran will jump in...and if Iran jumps in USA will get involved...and other countries will get involved...we already have the "allies" system just like in world war 1 and 2...we can pretty much have a WORLD WAR 3 if Israel is not stopped

The notion of the Cold War being WWIII is pretty silly.
Who are the "They" that say it already happened?
It's also pretty silly to claim that the "US" won the cold war.
The result was the one that the US was hoping to accomplish but there were far more factors involved than Reagan's "tear down this wall" bravado speech.

There is definately potential for WWIII.
It's not just the instability in the Middle East.
North Korea is very unstable and China and Russia tend to align with North Korea.

There are many, many seriously demented "leaders" in former Soviet republics.

Indian and Pakistan are extremely volitile. The Taliban is far from being defeated and eliminated in Afganistan.

Somalia is ready to explode again as are many African nations, many of whom would love to align with China or Russia against the West.

Believe it or not, as crazy as a lot of these nuclear powers may seem I doubt we will see an exchange of nuclear fire in WWIII. That is simply the doomsday scenario.

I completely agree with you man..also its not only the conflicts between different countries that will play a role in WWIII [if it was 2 happen] but we have so many other factors now..Global warming...Asian Bird Flu...and so on...and the thing that scares me is that noone is taking any responsibility! Every part is blaming the other..

One scenario would have several countries openly espousing or participating in aggressive anti-US activites. Can America afford military engagement in several dozen Iraqs? At some point, America would be risking its way of life if it continues with conventional warfare, and the nukes would look mighty tempting as a final solution

okay the way you said FINAL Solution scares me...it reminds me of Hitler!

Hamas and Hezbollah both are politically and socially involved and there aim is to help there peoples
they have no choice but to have an arm section to protect themself
Everytime israel attacks Phalistine the media shows as if its doing the right thing by killing dozens of innocent civilians..but when Hamas in return attacks the israeli ARMY they are considered as the terrorists..
what this war will bring is simply more hamas like organizations..it will corrupt the next generation..by watching there parents die..kids will be filled with hatred towards israel...since America supports and funds the israeli army..they have all the advanced technology..but the poor phalistnian are left alone..so they have no choice but to kill themself in sucide bombings to protect the rest of there family members..and to "Revenge" the death of there families..

Last check, the only nation occupying Lebanese land in the past 5 years was Syria yet I don't see rockets being launched into there; quite the opposite in fact, there's plenty of rumors about caches flowing in but that's another matter for another discussion. And please don't bring up the Sheba farms nonsense which was settled years ago, either.

The fact is there's no excuse for the rocket launches and kidnappings that Hezbollah runs from time to time against Israel. It's not anything to do with getting land back, it's all about killing and causing havoc in another sovereign territory. What makes it that much worse is that they're hiding behind civilians and the sovereign nation of Lebanon.
