I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

Also read another article a few days ago how this war could render tanks obsolete, I'm not so sure about that personally, they was used to good effect in the Iraq/Afghanistan but Russia shouldn't use tanks anymore going by this conflict, they've had nothing but problems with them.

That's right, being in a confined space such as a tank is actually a disadvantage considering that tanks are just sitting ducks for some of these more portable and modern weapons.

But you know that some politicians are going to get rich and be able to buy themselves even bigger mansions by creating Wars in third World Countries and then selling them all these obsolete tanks.

Those Countries around the World that make their money off of killing others through artificially engineered Wars created by their intelligence agencies should be identified and be held accountable for their crimes against Humanity.

We as the human race have two choices, we can double down on all the animosities and hostilities that are the result of all the deep differences between the Philosophies, Ideologies, and Doctrines that exist between the three main systems in the World (mainly Capitalism, Communism, and Religious Fundamentalism) or we can try to settle our differences by trying to find common grounds over the Universal Principles and Values that are derived through Logic and Compassion.

We all as individuals have a choice too, we can act as political pundits and direct all our criticism and attacks towards others while ignoring all the shortcomings and faults of our own side

Or

We can focus on what is good for Humanity and our Home Planet as a whole and hold everyone who wants to cause harm equally accountable regardless of which side they belong to.

If we choose to double down on the old and outdated policies and agendas of the past the World is always going to be at risk of getting into another War even after the current conflict in Ukraine is brought to an end.

Knowing that President Putin is a religious man I was wondering if anyone has asked Jesus to intervene and bring this horrible situation of human suffering to an end.

It is one thing to say you are religious. It is another thing to live like you are.

I have seen nothing from Putin that actually shows he is religious in any way.

You also had statements from leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church that essentially endorsed genocide of Ukrainians.

Some people are "religious" only when it gives them some advantage, but don't act that way.

With modern machinery, there is no major advantage to being in a tank, especially junky relics of the past.
You are basically in a tomb, a sitting duck waiting for enemy fire. Modern wars are won with air and naval supremacy, that is why Russia is struggling so much.

It's my understanding that Jesus provides a direct path to redemption to anyone who wants to be saved even to the sinners as everyone is a sinner in one way or another compared to Jesus.

Now if people fail to change their old ways and redeem themselves it's because of their own arrogance and ignorance and not that Jesus wants to kill them because based on his teachings I believe that Jesus wants to save the Humanity as a whole without leaving anyone behind.

If you believe Jesus to be a Force For Good then Logic says that nothing makes Jesus happier to see the human race as a whole ascend to a higher level of thinking and existence and leave behind this animalistic and evil Era that is and has been causing so many problems for Humanity and this Planet.

A lot of people (including religious scholars) mistakenly believe that Armageddon is about physical destruction of the World, but in my opinion when Bible talks about Armageddon it has to do with the destruction of all the existing Ideologies, Philosophies, and Doctrines of all the different systems in the World that have been keeping Humanity in bondage.

Don't wait for a person to show up and claim to be Jesus as most likely he will come back in the way of the spirit that is going to propel the World into a new Era of peace and prosperity.

I believe that one can reach awareness and be able to see the big picture through the soul by tapping into the natural network of life which consists of all the brain power of all the living things in the World (including humans) in which could be considered as a massive quantum computer in itself which we affectionately call "God".

Nevertheless I only wanted to ask Jesus for help to put an end to all the killings, I didn’t mean to start a religious discussion, I believe there is a separate thread for that.

How you plan on trying to reconcile positions like China's 'rule by law' vs our 'rule of law'.... . Can't see that happening using our traditional Aristotelian logic and western compassion.

Edward de Bono is respected in China for his alternative thinking approaches. Maybe that would be a source to create something to work with, that Chinese might consider.

Unfortunately, you might be correct. If an accidental hit/strike on a NATO partner does not happen in the near term, a tactical nuclear device could be the next step to escalation...it would only take a nuke tipped artillery shel or two to start things off.

I don't think that they will target a City, because then they will lose China's support which they would like to have right now.
