I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

Alexei Navalny writes to TIME magazine about...

Vladimir Putin

Perhaps Vladimir Putin’s true mission is to teach lessons. To everyone - from world leaders and pundits to ordinary people. He has been especially good at this in 2022.

He reminded us once again that a path that begins with “just a little election rigging” always ends with a dictatorship. And dictatorship always leads to war. It’s a lesson we shouldn’t have forgotten.

World leaders have hypocritically talked for years about a “pragmatic approach” and the benefits of international trade. In so doing, they enabled themselves to benefit from Russian oil and gas while Putin’s grip on power grew stronger. Between sanctions and military and economic aid, this war will cost hundreds of times more than those lucrative oil and gas contracts, the signing of which used to be celebrated with champagne.

Putin has reminded us all of the “duck test”: if something looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

The very same logic should be applied in this case: if someone destroys the independent media, organizes political assassinations, and sticks to his imperial delusions, then he is a madman capable of causing a bloodbath in the center of Europe in the 21st century. And you really shouldn’t embrace him at international forums.

Right now, Putin is also teaching a lesson on how to nullify economic gains made by one’s country over the course of 20 years.

However, the answer to the main question he poses - how to stop an evil madman with an army, nuclear weapons, and membership in the U.N. Security Council is yet to be answered. And we are the ones who must find that answer.

I hope there is no war in the world,
It is hoped that people all over the world can coexist peacefully,
War will only increase the pressure on the people at the bottom of society,
It is already a kind of happiness for everyone to live

Good news:

Last week it was reported: "Ukraine needs to face reality and talk to Putin: Zelensky"

And now it's reported that Putin is 'open to resume' frozen talks

End of the war might be close (y) (y) (y) (y)
Ukraine is up to talk but not to hand over their terrirotires to Putler. So Putler troops can leave Ukraine and face consequences for their war crimes in International Court. Don't expect Ukraine to hand over their territories to the Terrorist in chief Putler. By the way, what Putler wants is to annihilate Ukiraine and Ukrainians and invade the whole country. There have been talks since the first days of Putler aggression but what Putler wants in Ukraine is very clear.

Putler troops commit atrocities on Ukraine territories where they take control. Torture, rape and killing of civilians who say a word in favour of Ukraine. Mass deportation to filtration and concentration camps. Ukrainians won't hand over their territories to let Putler troops freely torture, rape and annihilate Ukrainians.

Yes, well, what do you expect to hear from Putler's regime puppets. According to Putler, Ukrainians are the ones who are slaughtering their own people and daily bombing their own civilian buildings. But they really don't expect the rest of the world to believe their pathetic lies. Their main goal is to lie to their own people, whom they control thanks to the media censorship and control in Russia by Putler.

Those who advocate concessions and Ukraine ceding its territory, should add: 'I don't care about human rights. It doesn't matter for me how many Ukrainians will be tortured, raped, killed and abducted by Russians'. That would be honest because that's exactly what's gonna happen

Those who suggest surrendering territories to russia, choose to look away from torture and genocide committed by 🇷🇺 where 🇷🇺 takes over. More should be written about 🇷🇺 filtration camps and concentration camps. Germany should especially appreciate it. edition.cnn.com/2022/05/23/eur…

This is 🇷🇺 Solntsepek flamethrower system. Some partners avoid giving the necessary weapons because of fear of the escalation. Escalation, really? RF already uses the heaviest non-nuclear weapons against 🇺🇦, burning people alive. Maybe it's time to respond and give us MLRS?

It's surreal that Ukraine, the country that has been suffering from Russian bombing, murders, rapes, gets blamed by some for a possible global food crisis because 'it refuses to cede territory to Russia'. How about blaming Russia for starting the war and blocking Ukrainian ports?

US Approves Transfer Of Long-range Multiple-launch Rocket Systems To Ukraine

Ukraine’s military had requested Washington to provide High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS). This was backed by the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who said in a televised statement that sending advanced, long-range rocket systems “would enable them [Ukraine forces] to defend themselves against the brutal Russian artillery, and that’s where the world needs to go down.”

Systems being sent to Ukraine's military could be M31 GMLRS, short for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System, and can be equipped with satellite-guided missiles, the new report said.

Russia's state media had discussed the prospects of US providing advanced weaponry to Ukraine as escalatory.

Ukrainians see their culture being erased as Russia hits beloved sites

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/ukrainian-culture-erased-russia-hits-beloved-sites-rcna29972

"Since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, Ukrainian officials have accused Moscow of intentionally attacking hundreds of cultural sites, which is a war crime under the 1954 Hague Convention. Ukrainians say the attacks are part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s effort to erase Ukrainian identity and reclaim the country that he believes was stolen from the Russian empire.

“They struck once on May 6, destroyed the museum and never came back,” Eliseev said. “That’s because they accomplished their mission.”

Ukraine’s Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko said his office has recorded more than 350 “Russian war crimes against cultural heritage” as of May 19. And UNESCO, the United Nations’ cultural agency, has verified damage to 133 sites, although that number is likely to be much higher given the limited access to information in occupied territories — such as the city of Mariupol, where Ukraine has accused Russian forces of seizing more than 2,000 pieces of art."

Ukrainian MP urges west to supply long-range rockets or risk Russian victory

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...range-rockets-risk-russian-victory-kira-rudik

"A Ukrainian MP visiting Britain has urged the west to supply long-range rockets to her country – and warned without further military help her country risked deadlock or defeat in its war against Russia.

“We need to let our soldiers on the front fight better and for that we need MLRS systems, longer-range systems,” Rudik said. “We know that there is like no peaceful agreement on this conflict. We will need to win it militarily.”

Capable of firing 12 rockets in a minute, Ukraine believes the US-made M270 MLRS could turn around Kyiv’s fortunes, with Russia currently outshelling it and, under the heavy bombardment, closing in on Sievierodonetsk.

The MP said she did not have to use the weapon as Russian forces bore down on Kyiv in the first weeks of the war, but insisted she remained willing to do so if necessary, not least because of the sexual violence the invaders had inflicted on Ukrainian women and girls in occupied suburbs north-east of the capital.

“I have been to Bucha, Irpin and Borodianka since the days of the occupation and I have talked to women who suffered from sexual crimes,” she said. “Honestly, this is probably one of the parts [reasons] why I have the rifle.”

#Sumy region.#Russian occupiers fire artillery rounds at residential buildings, filled with flechettes – a pointed steel projectile with a vanned tail for stable flight.
Their aim is to kill and injure as many people as possible.
They totally do not care about civilians.
