I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

Not sure who will take over should putin expire before the war is brought to a close.

Puffy face, a clear sign of steroid use. Some authorities say colon cancer, wouldn't surprise me (the way putler walks). Steroid use diminishes ones immune system which would explain his hypochondria toward Covid. Who would even want to fill his boots (besides another monster)? 👢👢💩

I can honestly think of only one man who could step up to the plate...

This makes the Nuke possibilities even more prevalent IMO , if that is true. Unless , Putin is taken out of power , in which case history doesn’t fair well, the whole situation is very complicated as to how to stop the war, remove Putin from power , but the longer Ukraine can fight , the better the end case scenario IMO

It is hard to imagine how those around Putin think, because they all fear him, they're all yes men, but hopefully there's somebody who can stop any potential mass destruction reaction by Putin, should it ever happen.

At this stage it is very clear he's not winning, I don't think he's achieved any objective. His military must be a big disappointment.

Maybe just stop, & focus on rebuilding your economy.
& Ukrainians can rebuild their country.

Finland must apply to join Nato without delay, say president and PM

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/may/12/finland-apply-join-nato-without-delay-president-pm

"Finland must apply to join Nato without delay, its president and prime minister have said, confirming a radical change in the Nordic country’s defence policy triggered by the Ukraine war after decades of military non-alignment.

Sauli Niinistö and Sanna Marin made the call in a joint statement, adding: “We hope that the national steps still needed to make this decision will be taken rapidly within the next few days."

Finland says NATO membership would ramp up security in Baltic Sea region

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/finland-says-nato-membership-ramp-072144657.html

BRUSSELS, May 12 (Reuters) - Finland's accession to NATO would strengthen security in the Baltic Sea region, Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto told EU lawmakers on Thursday, referring to a region seen as NATO's weakest flank.

"Should Finland decide to apply, the accession of Finland would strengthen the security and stability of the Baltic Sea region and northern Europe," Haavisto said, addressing EU lawmakers via videolink.

"We are convinced that Finland would bring added value to NATO. Our war time strength of the defence forces is 280,000 troops, and the trained reserve is 900,000 men and women," he added.

Finland has historically had high defense spending and still has a policy of conscription with all adult men liable to be called up for military service (nearly 1/5 of the population). The country is serious about its own security as it knows better, having already beat back the bear during the Winter War with no help from the West.

All un-natural death makes me sad. Intentional killing of another human, not in the realm of self defense, is unconscionable. What happens in this video is awful leaves me with no words to describe my emotions.

You could say Finland and Sweden are already in NATO:-

UK troops could be sent to Sweden and Finland in event of Russian attack as new security pact signed

If Russia attacks Finland or Sweden and the UK comes to these countries aid (military) and there is an exchange between the UK and Russia, article 5 is triggered, right?

That's a coward execution, another deliberated murder of unarmed and innocent civilians. Those cowards shooting the unarmed civilians on the back that just few seconds ago were giving them cigarrettes, those terrorists are clearly following orders. They are terrorists with no humanity, same as their boss, and same as Putler, the ultimate mass murderer giving this troops of savage and inhumane terrorists the orders to shoot and kill unarmed and innocent civilians.

I think not exactly. Article 5 would be triggered in the event Russia attacks the UK soil. But still that's a huge support by the UK to Finland and Sweden. Because even in a military exchange outside the UK but between the UK and Russia, that would trigger more aid for sure.

"Article 5 provides that if a NATO Ally is the victim of an armed attack, each and every other member of the Alliance will consider this act of violence as an armed attack against all members and will take the actions it deems necessary to assist the Ally attacked."

In the case of UK troops sent to Finland or Sweden, that would be an attack against NATO troops, but not a NATO ally (the country). At least, that's what I understand from that article, and that's why Finland and Sweden wants to enter NATO alliance as soon as possible, besides being partially supported now by the UK army.

More atrocities by the terrorists sent by Putler to Ukraine:

"11yo Yaroslav is taking care of his mother Natalia and his twin Yana, who lost their legs in the shelling of #Kramatorsk railway station. Now they are in a Lviv hospital preparing for a prosthetic surgery in the USA"
