At $1.99 per domain, worth a shot. Let us know if you picked any up.

The 4th one I picked up was CreditCard.

Worth the shot... now just need to figure out how to develop these.

So I was looking if some .work domains are indexed in Google and seems like some guy is already using his:

schroeder.work (dirk-schröder.com is redirecting to .work)

I did that "site:.work" look up and there are a few sites up.
dotnet (dot) work takes the #1 spot on the search but it shows that there is 45 hits.

So something is out there... just not many at the moment.
Then again...this is only the 3rd day since GA.

Cheers

You do realize that ranking in site:. means absolutely nothing?

I didn't realize that my statement could be construed as having ranking meaning.
I just thought that the DOMAIN NAME was interesting hack for the extension.
But I guess after re-reading the post I can see what you mean however, it was not intended that way.

On another note, there are over 4.6k .work names that have been registered.

Cheers

Trellis.work is available right now at $1.39... I'm not interested in that one so maybe somebody else is? Trelliswork is a full word: "work or patterns of latticework"

OMG I've just found new TLD - .workS.
lol

I think .work(S) has been out since May (or something like that).
Didn't make much of a splash... could be the $30 price tag as opposed to the two buck chuck ($2) that is .WORK

.works is too much of cost compare to .work.

BTW> .top also available for $0.99..

Out of all the new extensions, I like .club and .work the best.

I registered 4 because I just couldn't resist.

I'm with you actually. .work and .club are my two favorites for value and developing out of all of the new gtlds.

I like the price point on .WORK.
I got back into the domaining world too late to really take advantage of .CLUB.

.Work obviously lends itself well to hacks which are nice to look at.
I also like the idea of ROI.
As I stated before, pick it up for $2 and sell it for $10, you just make 500% ROI. That is powerful stuff right there.

Can we count a close friend of mine gave me $10 bucks to register him a .Work domain name as a sale?
LOL...
I made a profit on a name that never even landed in my account.

Just wanted to toss that into the ring.

you're making $8 - $9 profit off a "close friend"? That's pretty low.

Nahhh... I posted that as more of a joke then an actual post.
Yes, I did make $8 profit (so to speak) but there is more to it then what I posted.
Tongue in cheek, I was asking the question if we can consider that a sale.

I appreciate you weighing in on the topic but there is more beneath the surface and the post was meant not to be taken seriously.

Cheers
