Wordpress woes

Pretty new to wordpress and currently bumbling through it very slowly. I would muchly appreciate your help as i am stuck. How do i get posts to stick at the top and not move down with new posts? Also, is there a plugin for grabbing vids from youtube etc or do ineed to buy a script?

To make posts stay at the top go to:

Posts > Edit > (Hover over the post you want at the top) Click Quick Edit > Tick the box that says "Make this post sticky" > Click update post.

There are heaps of free plugins to make embedding youtube videos easy. I dont use them on my site so I cant suggest a good one but have a search through here - WordPress › WordPress Plugins

What exactly do you mean by "grabbing" vids from YouTube? If you mean embedding, there are plenty of free plugins you can use for that.

I'd recommend this one: WordPress › Viper's Video Quicktags « WordPress Plugins

Can also easily embed videos from a number of other popular video sites with that plugin.

Yea just do a search for any plugin you want and it should pull it up for you.
