Wordpress User Settings

hi there, i have the new site DnTv.Com.Au and it is hoped that people who join can post videos about domaining ..... so far so good

However i did receive notice that someone tried to post a video but it would not stick? the post worked but not the video, i then tried to post the video mentioned to me (as admin) and it worked ?

The user setting is a 'author' and i cannot think of why they could post but not insert a video ?

Maybe this is the incorrect user setting ?

Any opinions on why a user cannot post a video

hey pal..
the only reason you could post but no post a video
because the website is new...
wait for some days increase the number of post on your website..
than you can easily psot videos on ur site..
i would like to tell you more on website incresing traffic..
submit ur website url to top directory with pr above 5...and do blog commenting on sites similar to ur site niche..
do forum posting as much as u can..
make your content fresh and unique...above all a blooger need patience and consistence in his work..

Sorry but that has nothing to do with what i was asking, which was eventually answered on another forum, i was informed i needed a wordpress plugin called "user role editor" which after i installed allows for members to post videos, i had to tick/check the unfiltered html box and then .....hey presto all users can post videos on the site
