Wordpress AdSense problems

Recently I added wordpress to my new wordpress blog, however the ads are not showing. I know I have added the adsense coding in the correct section of coding, as a large area of white space (where my ads go) has shown up..however no ads are showing.

Any thought on how I can fix this?

How long ago did you add the code? It can take 15 minutes or so to show.

The code has been on the site over 12 hours now and no ads are showing still

has the page been indexed / are you using any ad block software on your computer?

yes, the site i built was on an expired domain which had a few pages indexed, would this affect the ads showing or not? Also I only have a few pages on the site, do I need to add more for the ads to show?

could you give us the url of one of those pages that is indexed and has the adsense code in the right place?

the div containing your code looks like it has improper quotation marks. fixing those might help.
