This is by far the highest I've ever received from a click on a parked page.

What'd I do right? haha.

Five dollar clicks are a daily occurence if you buy the right domains. We still get clicks regularly in the $20 to $40 range. These kind of clicks are come from high-quality generic, niche domains ranging from subjects like cash settlement advance, loans and financing, diamonds and gold, real estate, etc.... ones where the surfer and advertiser are speaking in terms of transactions that are x,xxx or more, and not xx. It's usually the bottom line amount that is being dealt with that ends up influencing the bid amount. If you spend your time buying domains like dentalfloss.com, then you will almost never get big clicks.
Very nice info here.

Obviously Poker clicks at Fabulous have a history of high amounts, but apparantly that is sinking. We got clicks that went for over $50 at Fab, but not recently.

Fabulous.com, in our experience, seems to crank these big payouts out more than anyone else.

thanks for the nice info there.

How about Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolex, Lambogini, BMW's, Luxury House, Luxury hotel might bring in big income clicks right ?

In my experience sportscar clicks are max 1-2$ with adsense, i doubt parking companies could pay more, but obviously i have tried only a few names. Vintage cars are paying well too. Auto Union D-Type just sold (one car!) at Christies auction for 11.5m Euro :sold:

I'm sure you could make a killing, but so could the Trademark Attorneys and the companies affected. Remember, they can sue you for 3 X what you made off the offending domain. So if you make $20,000 on a Rolex typo you could be looking at paying $60,000 to Rolex, plus attorneys fees - ouch!!!

These types of domains only undermine those of us that are buying legit, non-trademark domains - it brings down our reputation and the industry's reputation.

I think you are better off buying domains you can resell or park with a clear conscious. Also, good domains - non-trademarked domains, you have a better chance of having a valueable, liquidable asset in 20 years.

It sucks to feel like you are leeching when you can easliy have pure, direct navigation generics.

IMO :)

Thanks for the advice.

hmmmm.... How about developing a mini site instead of parking it.

e.g Rolexwatchdiscussion.com , or BMWcarpictures.com

so probably I can sort of develop a forum to discuss about rolex right ?
and I can also develop a site about BMW pics rite ?

Please let us know what domain this was! Or even the type or keyword if you want to keep this one to yourself. Otherwise I'll spend all evening trying to figure this out... (hmm...mesthelioma, bankruptcy, DUI lawyer....?)

Seabass: We recently purchased a large number of cash, loan, casino, jewellery, etc domains and have them parked at Sedo. We are getting terrible results with this. Would you recommend that we move over to Fab even though as you say (and as we have heard at other places) the RPC is going down there because of recent law changes?

Domain was related to insurance, as far as what what was clicked, I have no idea :)

STDomains - Try DS with those domains.
