wmcc(dot)com vs mjmedia(dot).net

hey guys, i am playing on building a web design, advertising, marketing company and like to know which name in the long run is better choice for me.

wmcc.com = web marketing consulting company
MGMedia.net = .com is taken and not for sale other wise i would have picked that for sure, because its my family name.


any help is greatly appreciated

Neither TBH, I would look for a better brandable / memorable name or find another "WORD"media.com

A marketing consulting company that uses a .net does'nt really paint a great picture IMO...or maybe I may just be too Bias ?

If it had to be one out of the two then I would go with wmcc

id go with the .com too for that kind of business unless its a really really good .net or appropriate for .net then ill stick to .com for commercial.

Unless it is something like banner.net or promo.net or ads.net, it is not good idea to go with .net for such a project and for most of the projects, for that matter.

wmcc.com is good name. Except, I would add "and" between marketing and consulting company".

I am in marketing as well and am planning to launch couple more companies and have been looking for good .coms.

I already had Adency.com and have added today ProAds.com (bought on NJ). Other "ad" names I have purchased are adru.com, adge.com etc.

I can tell you because I follow the niche, that all LLmedia.com are regged. So you going to have to buy in the secondary market. I would come up with a third letter if you like media to get the .com or use another word media.com

If I was forced to choose, I would go with MGmedia.net. But I don't like either of them. You had another thread about this here on NP and I said why in there, but that thread seems to be gone.
