Hi All

Continuing on from the Rugby League coaching logo contest I now have a new one for the site header.

I have got my hands on a design that I like and have made a couple of banners however they just don't look right so I am lookign for some inspiration.

The size of the banner should be 776 by 143 pixels and should intergrate into this design nicely!

This is the logo split into 2 files, the text and the mascot

I have split the logo up like that in a way that I hope makes it easier for you to work with!

Looking forward to seeing what you can all come up with!

I did a couple of sketches for your last comp, but i wasnt happy with the end product.

did you mean you want to put your logo and text onto the banner, with the hills and sky, already on yur site?

I would like a new banner to replace the one on my site. The new banner is to include the logo and mascot as per yours

Can you show me what you banner looks like in the actual page?

I had already used the banner from the template before I knew you wanted a new one. I don't think it looks too bad, so I thought I would post it anyway. Then I made a banner with a new background.

Must admit to liking both of those!

Only problem is they look very grainy, especially the welcome sign.

Is that something you have done for copyright purposes?

Thanks for the effort which I do actually really like however!

The image that you have used is that of American Football (I am presuming you are in America?) and you have also used an American Football.

Rugby League is a small sport played in the UK and is also the national sport of Australia.

Try doing a search for Rugby League across the royalty image sites and replace the images.

As I say, I like the design jsut that the images don't work.

can i ask if you like the banner i made. If you like it i'll put on the actual web page, to let your see itit will have to be tomo though, working from laptop at min.

Also if its not what your looking for i'd really like to know, so i can re-submit somthing for you.

AMI, the image your using is UK rugby, but its RUGBY UNION. Being a league fan, i noticed. it may be hard to find any league images for free, ive searched.

Sorry about the grainy areas. I was half asleep when I saved them this morning. These should be better. As for the Welcome sign, the sign itself is a little blurry at the top right from the template so there is nothing I can do about that.

Hi All, thanks for the designs submitted so far. Here is some feedback for those that I haven't replied to yet. I appologise it has taken a while, I have been out coaching would you beleive!

Fried-Chicken - Yes I kind of like it but my overriding thought is that it is too basic! Try something along similar lines but more professional, though how you do that I don't know!


Ami - Unfortunately you have used a Rugby Union image whic is a big no, no as those involved in rugby league normally have a dislike for the other code. Not all but most.

I really like the way that your banner is layerd but it does need a rugby league image in of some kind!

Jackieh1791 - I like the first one which has the mascot and logo overlayed over the original banner (Should have done that myself and saved some money lol!) Can you have a go at getting your tag line from the 2nd one into the first as I like that!

Can't really recomend a change here other than that!

contest is definatley between Jackieh1791 and Ami at the moment but am looking forward to more entrys!

Justin GFX - I like it however it looks like he is running through a farmers field than on a rugby pitch!

jackieh1791 - Don't like the revision as I actually liked the welcome sign! Try fitting the tag line in somewhere else!

Tag Line - Hope Jackieh1791 Doesn't mind but i like her tag line so could you please try and fit that into your banners somewhere?

Hi, both are good designs that I am really happy with, just the Tag line that we need to get correct now!

I don't like the style of the text or the colour of it.

Try going for a silver colour underneath the word "Coaching" in a plain and simple font!
