Windows 7 release date announced

Yep. It is almost here. Windows 7 is scheduled for RTM the 2nd half of July 2009 and should be in stores October 22nd.

I have been using it on my laptop.
It runs extremely nice and I must say I will switch!

I am using the Release Candidate version, i like the new Windows 7 so far...its much faster and easier to browse on my files (im a bit of a slob hehe) if the price is good, I guess i'll purchase it

I have tried the beta version since I have a subscription to TechNet. I was pretty impressed with what they have done with it. I definately feel it will get better reviews than Vista.
