Hello, I have a site that I am trying to sell and the right offer has not come along yet.

Currently the site makes money through adsense mostly.

What would happen if I temporarily switched the nameserver and parked on SEDO for about a week and then switch back to the site so the search engines keep registering the content?

Is this idea suicide for my SEO rankings?

The site toggles between a PR4 and PR5.

My goal is just to squeeze more revenue out of it, but I dont want to get "blacklisted" or something similar for trying this.

THANKS!

Don't try it. You could totally hurt your search engine rankings. A PR5 is too valuable to take such a risk.

Also, what makes you think you'll get more revenue from Sedo - that's three people sharing the pie instead of two.

This is not a good idea.

The reason I am assuming it will generate more money is everything on the SEDO server is ads, where as my ads are scattered through content on the site.

I have about 70 natural visitors per day so if just half click through on the SEDO site then I can probably get about $10-$20 for that week vs. the usual $20 per month through adsense.

= about $30-40 per month in total vs. the $20 only.

Ok, but it would be unlikely to get 50% CTR - some names do, and better, but as an average work on 10-12% and a reduced PPC.

Out of interest what's the name / price? PM me if you like.
