Will the future multimedia standard be mp4/mpeg-4?

I started this thread/poll because I couldn’t find many threads
about mp4/mpeg-4 here at NP. IMO it seems that this quite
revolution of the future multimedia standard has been too quite.
Maybe I’m wrong, but what I’ve been reading lately in the internet
has convinced me to invest in a number of domains related to this
standard.

With mp4/mpeg-4 everything is possible!

-ebooks

H.264 is the latest standard and otherwise known as mpeg4, here's a great story about it
