For 2017, absolutely .com will remain King. Will take a while, if at all to overcome .com after all the years being engraved in the minds of consumers. Definitely some great gtld choices though now. Will be interesting to see how things play out over time! Voted yes.

This debate has gone on for years even before all the new crappy extensions.

.COM is King and will always be King until something else takes over the internet and replaces websites.
As long as the internet revolves around websites .COM will sit on the Iron Throne.

If you are invested in the new extensions then your best bet is to try and get a long with .COM and stop dreaming of knocking the King of his throne, it just ain't going to happen.
