Why do so many people register so many shit domains?

Looking through expired domains I can't believe how many completely worthless domains have been registered. Like 100,000 a day. Are there that many idiots or is it just SEPS spammers auto registering names?

Sorry Rougue, should have made it clear I was referring to the majority, certainly not all gTLD investors are idiots... I have only seen a minority of domainers register strong keywords that go well with gTLD's, as for the rest, it's embarrassing.

DU beat me to it - might have been for propane-powered machines which strip and buff floors. Propane-powered machine are higher end products and do a better job than the electric ones. (Have a client who's a cleaning contractor - its one of their selling points.)

Or it's a funny tag line for propane sales!

Yep. Propane is pretty expensive these days. In Alabama they opted out of dollar bills and asked patrons to put gallons of propane on the stage. StrippersLovePropane.com was part of an awareness campaign so people could find strip clubs that accepted propane as payment. The campaign failed because all the gas inside the clubs weren't ventilated properly and people were passing out so they stopped the campaign to avoid lawsuits...Ok, totally just made all that up. :D

You remembered the slogan which proves how effective it is, In a way I agree with you but I would have to see the logo that's associated with the slogan, If it's nothing dirty I wouldn't have a problem with it, but then again I don't hire contractors by advertisements, google searches or out of the phone book, only by reference.
