Hi All,

CVCV and VCVC name meaning any special? Is this just a game?

Total CVCV=5x21x5x21
same as VCVC=CCVV=VVCC=CVVC
Far more than same Three Letter with other letter such as
SSSL, BBBQ,...Total = 26x25

Really not make any sense.

HSBC meaningful but not have V--may worth millions dollars.

Please post any LLLL.com name sold for high price here to prove and more study!!!

Any comments welcome.

Just want to learn from you.

Thanks for looking!

Bill

Memorability is better due to better branding of a fully pronunciable name.

Why do people use names as BILL , MATT , MARK , BOB , DEAN , RICK instead of FFFF , GGGG , PPPP , ZZZZ ?

Same concept.

Baby Talk!

The most brandable domains a baby can say!

Also, they are a lot easier to search for than other brandable domains that follow consonant vowel patterns that aren't always brandable.

e.g. KREE is a very brandable CCVV but KFEE is shocking in comparison.
e.g. WIST is a very brandable CVCC but WIDV is shocking in comparison.
e.g. PHAM is a very brandable CVCC but PTAM is shocking in comparison.

However with the exeption of domains starting with a Q or X, all CVCV are quite similar in brandable potential. VCVC are similar in characteristics but a little bit more difficult to say. If you want more info, speak to a speech therapist or some similar speech expert. They should know more than the average domainer.

HSBC is a brand. They have developed their name. Thats why its worth a lot.
It stands for an organization which is well known. Just take all that away from it and it will probably be another pretty face minus the bad letters.

Its hot because all 3 characters gone , so SPECIAL 4 letters will come hot next (CVCV for example) .

Follow the trail,
if sex.com owner digs a 6 feet pit, others will fall in it.
In short, its a race with the matter "who sells most"

It's simple, I've wondered this myself, and concluded, that all cvcv is natural speech, and is pronounceable. Show me a a CVCV that isn't pronounceable ..

The issue with CVCV is pronunciation and lettering. Quality CVCV's typically are easily pronounceable, and of course easy to remember, thus easy to brand. They are going to be hot items in the future as new businesses look for easily pronounceable but short domain names. Its hard to mispell short domains, especially pronounceable ones.

Now, also the Buzz has died down a bit, earlier in the summer these things were flying off the shelves, if anything - the demand has eased off just a bit. However, I currently have a CVCV at auction at Sedo - this is a perfect litmus test of how the market is taking them right now..

Go to NameBio.com, then on the top tabs, click on "Popular", then select LLLL from the dropdown, then type CVCV in the box, and click Search!

NameBio is great tool ...

In general, CVCV are more pronounceable than any other type of LLLL.com.

Of course, I've never considered than something like Xuqo.com should be worth more than reg fee (because, IMHO, it looks terrible and you can't pronounce it quickly).

Although that brings into it the market - demand means that Xuqo.com would be worth $200... baffling to me :P
